SRO Tickets
As of late yesterday afternoon only 200 tickets remained for today's game. They will begin selling standing room only tickets beginning at 1 pm today.

Re: SRO Tickets
It is amazing when you win how you sell tickets.....unfortunately we still have to go thru the east again and we still have Greg Christopher as AD. Thus we will most likely not have another one.

Re: SRO Tickets
A lot of times our "Sell Outs" are greatly "helped" by fans residing in Lucas County, but based on what I could see on ESPN3 I was pleasantly encouraged by the amount of orange and brown in the stands with smaller pockets of maize and navy.

Not much blue and yellow, only the the section behind the bench and a few scattered in the crowd.

The Athletic Department did a good job of getting BG fans in the seats. Saw several HS teams behind the east basket. Know that some of next years incoming freshman were given tickets and a meal at the Union to come to campus this weekend as well. Nice environment to see potentially a first BG game.
Best of all I saw a good student turnout. They bring so much energy to the arena and seemed to have a good time.

Just hope that those that received free tickets and free meals were just incoming students and not student athletes because that is an NCAA violation. But then again Factman and Drago would have something else to blame on GC.

The student I know of will not be a student athlete at BG unless they bring back men's track (ooops I think I just lit as fuse). I only know that his mother said she believed he would be attending due to the offer - maybe just an excuse to go see a girl or something. Delete if you must but I don't think any rules were broken (unless his mother finds out something).

Don't be so hard on Factman. He only got to see 39 minutes and 57.7 seconds of the game before being kicked outgmartin wrote:FalconTurf wrote:The Athletic Department did a good job of getting BG fans in the seats. The place will prove to be too damn small if we ever get it together and win some games.

And I hope there are lines for tickets every night. (And that I can get said tickets without standing in line, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
