For those whom don't know the other coach with 900 wins and spent 6 years in BG we are talking about Ron Mason. Dont have the exact numbers but I know we won 3 CCHA championships under Mason and I believe 36 games in one season. Don't want to turn this into a Ron Mason thread as I want to keep the focus on Coach York, but Mason coached at three different CCHA schools. I don't think you would ever see that again in any sport or conference. Most coaches rarely will go from one team to another in the same conference. But once again, congrats to Coach York.

Here's the article on USCHO:

Congratulations to an outstanding coach and a great guy! Proud to call him one of our own!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
