UT-EMU game on Tuesday

Big game tomorrow night in Ypsi. Both UT & EMU come in at 11-2 and one game behind BG. I will never root for that school up North but if UT were to beat Eastern and BG beats OU on Wednesday BG will lock up no worse that #2 seed. That also will keep BG from playing UT until the finals because if UT wins the worst they can finish is #2. (If UT wins the worst scenario is UT and EMU could finish 13-3, and UT holds tie breaker over EMU. So if UT wins, it will then come down to only BG on UT being #1 and #2)

With that said, are you rooting for a UT win, that will guarantee BG no worse than a #2 seed and eliminate us facing the Rockets until the finals) or are you rooting for EMU to win. It is possible that an EMU win, and if BG were to slip up on two of its last 3 games that we could drop to #3 seed. In that scenario, EMU #1, UT #2, BG #3 (would not get an automatic bye into the semis)

I'm rooting hard, HARD for an EMU victory Tuesday night. A win by EMU puts Toledo 2 games in back of BG, and even if BG were to drop another game, we've got the tiebreaker over EMU.

Really, there's no difference between the #2 or #3 seed, either way we have to go through both EMU and Toledo to win the MAC tournament. Unless you really think there's a chance of BG being upset in the quarterfinals if we fall to #3, which would be very, very unlikely given how top heavy the conference is.

The big thing is getting #1 so we don't have to face both EMU and Toledo. An EMU victory over Toledo Tuesday helps us with that goal. A Toledo win basically makes it so that we have to win out because they have the tiebreaker on us.

Could this loss by KSU actually HELP BG? Assuming they win out? Haven't checked out records recently, though I know we're 7-5 in the MAC, currently in 5th.

Falcons rallied from slow start to take a 12pt. lead, and OU hit last 7pts in a row....BG up by 5 at halftime...looked like we were trying too many outside shots...Chrissy missed two 3's in a row on wide open looks...not typical.
