Falcon Awesome! Falcon Awesome! Falcon Awesome! I had to listen to the game on their website because I couldn't get the video or audio to work on ours, but wow what a great win. It sounded like an amazing atmosphere, what a game to have been at I am sure. I hope we carry this momentum into tomorrow night. Its 530am here, and I don't think I can go back to sleep after listening to that. Way to go Falcons!

You know, this was a great hockey game to watch. 2 goals right off the bat, and a hard fought game with physicality, good offense and good defense.
It was a great win for the Falcons.
On the way out of the arena, I saw a group of 10 or so (what I think was) UM students verbally harassing two young BG fans who were getting their photo taken with Freddie Falcon. Then another BG fan started jawing with them... it wasn't pretty. Pretty uncalled for on the UM fans part.
With that said, though... what was up with the Sprint guy between periods 1 and 2? He harassed that little kid who was a Michigan fan. Definitely uncalled for, especially for a corporate sponsor.
It was a great win for the Falcons.

SOOOOO proud of this team!!! Just a fantastic game by the Falcons!! The GWG by Williamson was just freakin' sweet!! One for the video archives for sure!!!

End of game activities resulted in Shea receiving 2 minutes for roughing after the whistle, and Guptill receiving 2 minutes for roughing after the whistle and 5 minutes for slashing. Wonder what the league's "Supplemental Discipline Policy" will have to say about the "slash?"
