Saturday Tailgate

For those coming to the game Saturday we'll be having a small-ish tailgate around 4:30pm before the game. Feel free to stop by and introduce yourself.

Careful with the tailgate Drew if you have adult beverages. I know there have been other hockey tailgates with success, but I got a ticket in November. The cop was not a complete d-bag, but he did take the time to explain to me that ANY adult beverages on campus grounds (even football tailgating) is against the law unless sanctioned by BGSU. They just don't enforce it on football gamedays.

We did have a cop ask us to stop drinking but no tickets. I doubt we'll do the tailgate anymore.

It's funny how BG has regulations regarding tailgating on campus but they only enforce this rule with certain sports. Never seeing this ever enforced on satursdays in the fall. Enforced being NO DRINKING. This is why we don't tailgating hockey anymore ran into the same issue last season and we were told to "put it away and clean it up before I come back". Selective enforcement.........

Maybe next year we can get a tailgate approved and show how well behaved we can be so they won't bug us anymore
