I bought 3 fullsize boxes of Chicken and cheese breadsticks when I was down for the NU game. They were gone by Tuesday.transfer2BGSU wrote:Twenty wings and 2 orders of poppers from SouthSide 6 - dinner tonight.

Hmm, definitely an interesting topic.
Ohio:
Skyline Chili (don't care if you don't like it, I will always love it.)
Tony Packo's
Mike-Sells chips
Esther Price Chocolates
Great Lakes beers
Christian Moerlein beers
Hudepohl beers, especially Amber Lager
Mt. Carmel beers
Buffalo Wild Wings
Wendy's
Proctor & Gamble (for all their many products I use every day)
Penn Station
Young's Dairy
Graeter's Ice Cream
United Dairy Farmers/Homemade Brand Ice Cream
Khan's hot dogs
Tennessee:
Calhoun's
Jack Daniel's
Ole Smoky Moonshine
Yazoo Brewing
Nissan Trucks (my first car, a 1992 Hardbody, and my current car, a 2001 Frontier, were both built in Smyrna.)
Ruby Tuesday
Gibson Guitars (I don't play guitar, but I do have to admire that they make some very nice ones)

I miss no tax on groceries and to go orders. Ten percent sales tax sucks!

I also enjoy the Afghan Whigs
and Velvet Ice Cream. Ohio does seem to be a hotbed of ice cream and potato chip action. A state could do a lot worse than that.

It's not a "product" per se, but let's not forget Ohio is also home of the best amusement park in the world. Gotta love Cedar Point.
And hell, King's Island ain't too shabby either. Two world class amusement parks in one state is pretty awesome.

I miss Geauga Lake.....
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: Ohio products I dig...
Me too. Went there all the time when I was a kid. To this day, I've been boycotting Cedar Fair and instead have been going to smaller parks.Flipper wrote:I miss Geauga Lake.....

Are you old enough to remember the big steel plate in the parking lot at Kewpee's? Narrow lot that dead ended into a building. You could drive in and angle park but would have to back out into a busy street-instead they installed a big steel plate at the back of the lot that spun on an axis. you drove your car onto the plate, honked and the burger guy inside pushed a button. Plate turned 180 degrees so your car faced the street and off you went. Kewpee's is an Ohio treasure. And remember "Your grandpappy ate there".

FWIW, Kewpee was (and, perhaps, still is) owned by Wilson's in Findlay.
