While I think the format is weak, I kinda like the way it shakes out.
Gotta beat CMU and should beat Toledo. Then OU and Buffalo. BG can play with 'em all.
Not too upset that we miss Kent and Akron (Cleveland is like a home game for them).

I think we have beaten everyone on our side but Buffalo.

And honestly I don't think Buffalo is much of a threat to win the tournament, I think they're overrated. Ohio and Akron, maybe Kent are the teams to look out for. If we win the quarterfinal game against Ohio, I think we beat Buffalo the 3rd time around. Both of the games were extremely close and we lost both because we shot ourselves in the foot, not because of anything they did.Globetrotter wrote:I think we have beaten everyone on our side but Buffalo.
Akron is the one team out there that I know unequivocally, undoubtedly that we cannot beat. Its just not in our DNA. We need Kent to take them out in the semis in order to have a chance to win this thing, but that's assuming we get past Ohio which is a big assumption. We have to get that far first.

Let's first get past Central. One game at a time.
