Hmm... hopefully its not serious enough that it was worth it. What a second half!!!

If anyone has a copy of the second half, I'd love to have it to tape over the second half of the football game.... 8)

Supposedly they carried Reimhold off... and I'm not talking about the crowd doing the carrying.

According to Dakich's radio interview Fitch was the one injured in the post-game celebration. Extent not known, but hopefully he's ok.

53 points in the second half! FIFTY-THREE!!!! What an effort after what I've heard was a hideous first 20 minutes. This is the kind of win that sparks teams. Hopefully it does the same here, they need it!

Just talked to my dad (again! I think he's using up his phone call time for the month...), he said the guy he was sitting next to saw them carry a player off, and he had a knee brace on already, so maybe it was Fitch. With all he's been through with injuries and rehab, lets hope he's not down again just for being happy.

Dad also said that the BG police took off into the tunnel shortly after the game, and rumor he heard is that Dakich and a UT assistant got into a shouting match.

"Cowboy" Brett Klassen talked to Fitch after the game and it sounds like he's going to be ok.

Dakich seemed very composed in the post game interview, but who knows?

Hmmm... like I said, its just the story he heard, and I don't know where he was at to hear the story, they were sitting in the back row of the opposite side of the arena. They just assumed it was player-related, but heard otherwise.

Regardless, I think if it was anything at all, combined with the WMU "fight" last Saturday, they need to look into their procedures around the tunnel. It's such a tight area to begin with, it doesn't take much for an on-floor rivalry to get chippy.

In the first half, I noticed the teams went off seperately, which just ought to be the rule. Guys are too high strung.

It was Fitch in the post-game, and he's fine.

I may not talk for a week. I yelled all I can yell tonight. Sweet, sweet win.

The final shot was right in front of me and my heart dropped when he shot it because it looked in....but, God's a Falcon fan! The arena was rocking and I'm getting ready to go savor the victory.
