Wow, what a shock. A coach gets fired and a writer starts throwing out names. Maybe, if one of those people is hired, the writer will look like he predicted it.

I agree with the poster on the Rocket board -- I don't think a coach who recently had a stroke, albeit mild, is going to be at the top of anyone's list. And, I really, really hope I'm right, because as much as Coach Miller deserves whatever job he wants, he's the best coach in MAC history & I'm happy to have him remain in Bowling Green for at least 11 more years.

Jerry Kill had a histry of seizures when Minnesota hired him. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Curt's chances if he's been cleared medically

You'll note he is no longer wearing a necktie. Blood is now flowing through the body without the constriction of the tie.

Can't deny that they work- I have never had my neck slit while wearing a tie.

I love that style of punchline... we adopted a Plott hound last summer and the two things we know about the breed is that it's the state dog of North Carolina and they were used to hunt bears. When people laugh about the bears part, my wife likes to say "you don't see any bears around, do you?"

My dad hung tinfoil strips in a cherry tree to scare birds away. Tree was filled with grackles so I said "Your bird deterent isn,t working." He replied "Not meant to keep birds out of the cherries. Its meant to keep the wolverines from getting the birds. Look at all the birds. Works pretty well, huh?"
