And unfortunately, this game is now over with that late turnover.

I was worried about the extra down time.

Good job CMU. Unfortunately for the Falcons - it looks like the WNIT and an away game and not the Stroh Center for post-season.

At least the CMU women knew good sportsmanship was to shake hands at the end of the game and not rush off the court into the locker room.

Crystal Brandford is the freshman I was talking about yesterday. We had no answer for her. I am not sure why we didn't use Slagle on her late. Matthews had no chance against her. She scored like the last 8 or 10 points for CMU on one-on-one-moves.

Central seems like a very unlikeable team, to put it mildly.

Heck of a season for a team that was "rebuilding." Go BG!

She's a beast. But man did she get some bounces! Throw it off the backboard, bounce straight up on the front of the rim and in... sigh.

Well I guess that's the worst loss in Coach Miller's career. Well that's according to BG24. WRONG. Central is BIG, ATHLETIC AND PHYSICAL. They are much better than their record. They will the 'Best of the West' the next three or four years. I don't think the time off gift us. CMU was the better team on the floor today.

The paper yesterday said BG was going to try and host a home NIT game. I asked this before, how could BG host a home game when they are played at the same times of the NCAA 1st and 2nd rounds. The NCAA isn't going to allow us to host an NIT game when they take control of the Stroh. I asked earlier if AA is an option.

Now its time to root for EMU

CMU has a vey good coach in Guevera. They are a very physical, up-tempo team and an extention of their coach. You could see this coming the last couple of years.

She is kind of a head case, you can tell. Her coach was calling for them to take the last shot of the half and she raced down court and tried to make a move but traveled with 16 seconds left. Coach was chewing on her ear all the way to the locker room. Yet to be seen if she develops and takes coaching or is a one-year wonder?
