Now it's up to the fans. The ticket office should be getting an allotment of tickets beginning tomorrow for Friday's game. Buy, buy, buy. Bring a friend or three. We're playing Michigan @ Detroit so the more people we can bring the better.
And I as well have work tomorrow but I had a few people ask so they could be there. Maybe those crazy students can pick up our slack.

This has got to be the 2nd coming of the miracle on ice. Un-Falcon-Believable!!!
I can't put into words just how amazing, unbelievable, incredible, shocking, stunning, for the love of upsets, SH*&F$IA*RHS#QW that game was. It still hasn't sunk in that we're going to the Joe.
Just think about how improbable, how unlikely what we just did truly was. Bowling Green went 4-2 on the road in these two weeks of playoff games. How did the rest of the CCHA do? 0-12. That's right, outside of BG, NOBODY won any games away from home in the past two weeks. And then, to top it off, in the decisive game we come from behind 3-0??? I mean, what is this some kind of Hollywood fiction fantasy?!!
I'm done...I can't even try to explain this through rational means. Definitely a higher power at work here.

24, you remember after the Notre Dame series at home? You wrote them off saying we wouldn't even win 3 more league games.bgsufalcon24 wrote:This has got to be the 2nd coming of the miracle on ice. Un-Falcon-Believable!!!

I am too musicman. I am too. You could see that the team was playing better in the 2nd half, and was beating quality teams. But I'm not sure even the biggest falcon fans with the most orange-colored of glasses could've seen this happening.musicman2343 wrote:24, you remember after the Notre Dame series at home? Re: Ferris State game #3
I was watching it happen the whole second half....yes, I believed that we could beat Ferris State this weekend and I said as much in another thread. This team has started believing in themselves and that is the key to building a successful program! 5031 fans watched them play toe to toe with UM the last game of the season after we beat them Friday night. Watching games like that, how can you help but believe that they can beat anyone?bgsufalcon24 wrote:I am too musicman. I am too. Beating Ferris St. is awesome enough. Not quitting after going down 3-0, including a bit of a fluke from center ice, is un-Falcon-believable.BGFan wrote:Watching games like that, how can you help but believe that they can beat anyone?
Two big series wins to back up the fantastic final weekend at the Ice Arena. Keep it rolling, guys!

BEAT THE WEASELS....AGAIN!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

My favorite part of the highlight video (provided knowing we won the game) is about a minute in when Ferris State scores their 3rd goal from center ice.
Hammond is absolutely crushed and shows body language I haven't seen from him all season.
I wish there was a shot around of his reaction to the winning goal. Unbelievable of the guys to get him 4 goals after that.
If there was ever proof of why you NEVER give up, this game is it.
