NCAA game at the Stroh

Post by OSUFALCON »

Don't be surprised by The Ohio State University Women team getting placed at the Stroh. Could be a #5 seed OSU vs a #12 seeded Eastern Michigan team. Now that would be fun to watch in a packed Stroh Center!

Yes, that would be a good game to have at the Stroh...much better than what Creme has in his bracket. I think he usually gets most of the teams in the field correct, but I don't think he is all that accurate when it comes to locations.

BG at large bid would b just fine with me.......Storh SOLD OUT standing room only!

Already heard that some with tickets r trying 3 sell 'cause BG not in it........WAIT til 8pm after selection show. Better yet come anyway.....hopefully 3/15 for WNIT game featuring BG @ home

Would like to see the following at the Stroh Center -

If not BG, then Eastern Michigan - nice to have a good MAC school and we can support them (so thankful we're not hosting The School Up North)
Delaware - would love to see Elena Della Donne play
Tennessee - Pat Summitt. Nothing else needs to be said

Fourth? Let the NCAA decide.

Tennessee would be pretty great. BG people could just wear their own apparel!

EMU is the #12 seed playing South Carolina at University of Purdue. If they win EMU will face Purdue. I'm guessing the last team Purdue wanted was a possible MAC team. CMU beat Purude and BG only lost by a basket.

I am hoping BG would get MSU or OSU.

Kind of surprised EMU was seeded 12. BG was a predicted 13/14 seed.

Here we go!

1Baylor
16 UC Santa Barbara

8 OSU
9 Florida

No St. Bonaventure, Michigan State, Dayton, or EMU.

But Trace Adkins and I like Kim Mulkey!

And the #1 player on the #1 team in the nation Baylor, Griner. WOW.

I am impressed BG gets to host a #1 seed. Wow!!!! Good job Greg Christopher. The arena will sell out very quickly.

OSU head coach Jim Foster is apparently already whining about being seeded too low. Go Gators. Go Bears. Hell, Go Gauchos.

When will the falcons get the respect that they deserve... how many 20+ winning seasons does this team have in the last decade? BG is a top 64 team... no doubt about it. Its a crime that the ladies didn't make it.

Have to disagree with you on this. BG did nothing to deserve an at large this year. There schedule was way to weak. If they would have made it to the finals, not had the bad loss to OU, whose RPI is near 250, and beaten Purdue then yes we would been in consideration. And past years are to play no role in getting a bid. We are talking about this year and not last year.
