...to all the people who have helped make The Anderson Animal group possible. Tonight I went in with almost 30 shirts and left with 4! I think we represented our school great and it's nice to see dedication from the fans for once! Big thanks to Grant and to everyone else who has purchased a shirt. If anyone still wants one, let me know!!! GO FALCONS!!!! :D

Keep up the good work McMetz. It was great to see Freida and Freddy wearing the Animals shirts too! 8)

I think some of the Sideline Squad members were even asking Freddy/Freida why they were wearing an Animals shirt, instead of a SS shirt. The "Triplett's Stupid" chant that started in that general direction was a little harsh, but quite funny. Following it up with "1,2,3" was classic. Students were great in the 2nd half tonight and hopefully it carries over to the rest of the year.

Triplett is lots of things. But I'll tell you what, in the face of that crowd and abuse he nailed two huge jumpers down the stretch. He can play.

As far as I'm concerned, you Animals were the best thing since the original Sideline Squad. Metz, Matt, Pres, the tall guy who's dating Kelly Kapferer (whose name escapes me right now), the dude I saw reading AZZ in the Union the other day, and the rest of you -- you guys were tremendous. You had the noise, the attitude, the energy, the leadership, and the intelligence all come together tonight just right for you.

"1 - 2 - 3" was a riot, and "Triplet's stupid" was great. No flack from me on that one. What a turnaround in student conduct vs. last season's UT home game. Yeah the chicken-head dude got tossed, but he was asking for it. Biggest of all was that I heard the F--- Toledo chant once, and it never even caught on with anybody besides the couple of dudes next to me.

Well done, Animals -- I'm proud of y'all.

What was great was the F--- Toledo chant was drowned out by a Let's Go Falcons chant... then later a BEAT TOLEDO chant....

I might have to get me an Animal's shirt. . . like the support and attitude, but I don't want an 'old' guy to take away from the kids' fun...

Tonight was great - I'm not going to be able to talk for a week! (No jokes about enjoying the quiet! :P)

It was totally insane - that was the best experience I've ever had in AA! I'm proud to be a BG student and an Anderson Animal. :)

Don't worry about being an "old guy" in an animals shirt... my dad has one and proudly had it on today at the game :D
