GT, what's your beef with Clawson? The guy had to clean up some messes here and FINALLY is back to the 85 scholarship level. IF he doesn't produce in the next couple years, THEN I'll agree we'll need to replace him. With 21 starters back next year and 18 (according to the 2011 depth chart) in 2013, we're loaded for bear. I wouldn't bet against Coach Clawson knowing his track record.

Nothing against Clawson. Nothing for Clawson either. I am lukewarm on him, not against another year, but if we give up the opportunity to get someone that I think might take us up a couple levels I think thats a mistake.

Fair enough...in 2 years when his contract has run its course. Next year the program is all his...

I like it...only one year.. just enough time for Urban to see what he has in the current players, have two recruiting classes and his entire offense installed for a major national title run in 2013. NICE!
