Anyone Catch Me On Ch. 11 News?

I was interviewed for the 6 o'clock WTOL Channel 11 News and my parents saw it while flipping between the start of the game and the news.

Then at 11 they just showed me and my group walking in to Anderson Arena.

I haven't watched channel 11 since Dan Cummins slandered Dan Dakich in his sports cast a few years back...

I haven't watched channel 11 since Dan Cummins slandered Dan Dakich in his sports cast a few years back...

Was Cummins' sports cast a result of an accident or did DD whack him a good one?

Cummins read my email to him on the air the night that story ran. I used to have the newscast on TIVO but I erased it. I thought it was an old episode of Sesame Street because I confused Cummins with "Beaker"

In a nutshell:

After Dakich left for WVU and then returned to BGSU, Cummins said on-air that Dakich had "begged Paul Krebs for his job back" in order to return to BG.

Dakich didn't take kindly to that statement and, in his next press conference, made that point clearly known to Mr. Cummins and the rest of the media.

Yes, it was your basic obscenity laced tirade that was completely inappropriate for home viewing, even with the bleeps.

My email was essentially the same thing. I chided for being mad at Dakich for cursing at him when Urban Meyer had left town while saying nary a word.

Grant,
Being in that press conference was a highlight of my life. Before Markey even asked a question, he turns to the 11 guy who was there (Obviously not Cummins, the wuss), and says "You tell Cummins I didn't beg for my ****ing job back."

Classic, classic Dakich.
