BG closes the regular season with two road trips this weekend...@EMU Friday and tsun Saturday. BG enters the weekend with an overall dual-match record of 8-8, 3-3 in MAC play. BG could finish as high as the third seed or as low as the seventh for the MAC Championships, to be held at NIU April 26-29.

BTW, BG leads tsun in the all time series, 24-16.

EMU squeaked by BG Friday, 4-3.

Today, BG takes on tsun. A BG win would give the Falcons the fifth seed for the league tournament and set up a rematch against either EMU or WMU in the quarterfinal round of next week's MAC Championships. A loss to ut could drop the Falcons to as low as the seventh seed for the league tourney.

Looks like BG will get a rematch with Eastern in the MAC Tournament. Hopefully they can get some revenge for Friday's 4-3 loss at Ypsi with a win at a neutral site.

I just took a look at the roster. BG only has one senior, and it looks like she normally plays at the 6 flight in singles. 4 juniors and 2 sophomores on the roster, so hopefully we are set up for success this weekend AND next season!
