Groce new Illini coach

Groce has accepted the Illinois head coaching position. Meeting with OU team Thursday morning. Illinois official press conference Thursday afternoon. Also, look for OSU assistant Jeff Boals to be the new OU coach. BG just lost opportunity for a great young coach.

I would bet that school sees a couple more transfers next year. We can revisit it then. Who was he the lead recruiter on?

Which school are you talking about, Globe? I wouldn't be surprised if some of the kids Groce was recruiting to OU wound up at Illinois. Caris Levert reopened his recruitment and has a bunch of Big10 schools including Illinois on his list.

I'm pretty sure Archie Miller was on both, he recruited both before leaving for Arizona.
