MAC Softball tourney update...

BG will play Ball State today at 11...Ball State was upset by WMU last night, 3-1. WMU has won 3 in a row in convincing fashion. Kent State faces #1 Miami, after CMU beat the RedHawks, 1-0, on a solo HR. WMU and CMU are both 3-0 in the tournament and face each other today at 5. That should stoke a few more flames in the WMU-CMU rivalry.

Should BG beat Ball State, they would play the winner of KSU/Miami at 7:30 tonight.

Falcons trail 3-2, heading into the bottom of the 7th. Last chance for BG!

BG strands the tying run at 2nd and falls to BSU, 3-2. Heck of a season for BG...36-22 overall, 46 HR's hit on the year and 95% of the roster returns next yr. Rachel Proehl and Melissa West were the only SR's on the team this year. Jamie Kertes and Paris Imholz are two young pitchers who just finished their Freshman seasons. BG should be a favorite for the MAC title next year.
