Freakin sweet! Not only did we get Patric over NIU, tsun and Ball State, he's from the Cleveland area. Class of 61 can now smile. LOL!

Mike,
I saw this yesterday....meant to post it, but forgot when other things distracted me.
Brush has had some talented kids over past few yrs.; hopefully, this will be another one...assuming he stays with us all the way. Now we need to look seriously at the Brecksville QB as the Mentor kid has too many big offers (though UT gave him an offer too).... and I understand we had a strong interest in the Massillon QB, but think he's already verballed elsewhere too.

JJ Huddle has him rated as the #66 prospect in Ohio.

You have to be a member to read it. Do they list him as a RB or linebacker?Warthog wrote:JJ Huddle has him rated as the #66 prospect in Ohio.

Hmm, the Huddle is free now.
LB.
Here is the link to his ScoutingOhio page (on this page, he lists his position as RB):

Based on the highlight video, looks like he will be a LB.

Thanks for the link. Really good speed, runs a 4.55 40 and a 11.1 100 meter. May end up being a safety or rover in BG's 4-2-5.Warthog wrote:Hmm, the Huddle is free now.

Forget Tupa from Brecksville too....he just verballed to..... MIAMI. He's the son of Tom Tupa, former Browns punter.....I saw him early last yr., prior to being injured, when he threw for 400+ yds in a game. Now it appears that we need to go after the Kent Roosevelt QB (assuming Dave Clawson's goal of a QB each yr. still holds). But I understand he's being heavily recruited also.
Bottom line.... we STILL need to re-establish our recruiting "presence" in the NE Ohio area...too many good kids going to other MAC schools, much less to B-11/12 or whatever they'll call that conference eventually.
