Only positive things should be posted and everyone gets a job and free education as long as they so choose. Just give your money to the athletics department, and just ignore the results. LET'S GO FALCONS.

You sure that's not "transfer" disguised as "guest44"?? I don't know. Seems like "transfer" mission statement to me.

I dont find much wrong with optimism, blind optimism gets annoying and can be a bit dangerous. Like "I bet that bear just wants to be friends." and "Politicians are looking out for my best interest."

Or "Louis Orr is a good coach and the coach that will lead this program to prominence" or even "Greg Christopher is one of the top Athletic Directors in the conference and we are so lucky to have him". Blind optimism and scared of change. Why fix the problem when we can be content with the problem.

Had Gregg Brandon entered the mix the way Louis Orr did, I would argue he would still be here. It's all about entry point. Expectations were awful when Lou got here, and he is still around because of it. Well, that and Christopher is all about his resume and firing his own hire won't help that. Plus, he is from Purdue. The school that somehow has kept the same football coach despite no success since Tiller stepped down.

Doubtful, BG football was an absolute mess under Brandon. Throw in the player conduct problems, the loss of scholarships, and throwing the fan base under the bus, he was getting fired after that year no matter who had hired him.

Well it was made much easier since he was replacing Meyer, as opposed to taking over a bottom feeder program when he started. I guess that is my point. If Orr had taken over before rock bottom, he would be gone.

That thread wasn't worth a s**t anyway. We're better off with it gone.

There are hundreds of shitty threads on here, and plenty of players who don't come here.

Yep next thread about BG hoops should be when date of Michigan St game will be, followed by annual BG picked 5th or 6th in the MAC East middle of summer.

Really...we have threads on here about guys who didn't come here? Where? The shitty part is open to interpretation...Dana Delaney was on Leno once...her family made million maing toilets. She said her grandpa used to tell her "it's s**t to most people, us it's gold to us"...

I think the constant Erger bashing is out of line...I probably shouldn't pick on Calhoun, Crawford and Black either. These aren'y professionals, they're collge kids...that's a line I used to respect...probably still should.
