As I mentioned the new matte orange BGSU helmets I’d just seen on Uni Watch, he went on to mention that BGSU will also debut a new white helmet at some point this year. He said it’s to keep up with all the other schools doing it.” …
I won't bother linking to the full post, as that is the only BG-relevant portion of it.
Very interesting. I like the idea but ONLY as a secondary helmet to the orange one. I don't mind if we come up with other colors as alternatives, but I hope we always keep orange as the primary one. I am not a big fan of white helmets, but I think I would look cool once in awhile. Someone on here once posted a picture of Greg Christopher's office with a white BG helmet in it. Anyone have that image?
That design is the same one as the helmet they gave to Mr. Sebo when the Sebo was dedicated. That may just be a decorative helmet for autographs or whatever else. If they went white, I hope they go with a metallic or flat what, the glossy white with the orange face mask, is just kind of, bleh.

Seems like a colossal waste for no gain.
With the uniform wars going on, I would be surprised if adidas isn't footing the bill for a lot of this. Eastern Michigan already announced new and alternate uniforms along with an alternate helmet. Seems about all teams are going to have home, away, alternate uniforms and alternate helmets.
