New Asst. Women's coach named
Check out bgsufalcons.com to read the bio on the newest member of Jennifer's staff...sounds like a solid choice. Was wondering when (or if) we'd name someone else other than Ali to assist Jennifer... based on Curt's staff, still one more asst. to go?

Welcome to the Nest!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I am hearing we have the final member of the staff, and she has Kentucky "roots".

When you read something, you should also try and COMPREHEND. He clearly stated SHE has Kentucky roots. RICK Pitino and BILLY Gillispie are HE's.

Doesn't that also rule out Secretariat?

My bad. I figured everyone knew Equestrian stuff since we don't have much discussion about equine events on this board. But as a long time reader of this board, we know that not many folks are basketball saavy.factman wrote:Doesn't that also rule out Secretariat?![]()
AjPHA World Show is going on now. The new APHA Executive Director is on Twitter. You can follow him @BillyAPHA

Are there any announcers worth a hoot in the equestrian show business? Probably most good ones have Kentucky roots!

I told my daughter about Secretariat winning the triple crown with a 33 length win in the Belmont. She thinks I'm lying. Off to youtube to prove my case...

Hey now! Keith Bradley is my mentor and HE is from good ol' Wood County right here in the state of O-hi-ah!
Jason Gates is out of Florida.
Louis Almadine is from Loooo-si-ana
Peter Doubleday is from North Carolina (lucky guy won the lotto and can afford to do the job full-time)
No Kentucky roots with them guys!

Flip,
I think you ARE lying! Either that or you've forgotten your horsey history.... he won by THIRTY - ONE lengths, so your daughter is correct.

Are you 100% sure of your assertions re: Pitino & Gillispie? I really think you might be wrong.
