A Cedar Point employee opens his cakehole...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Yesterday, Jake and I hit the Point. He was wearing a BGSU shirt and I had on a worn out Falcon sleeveless shirt knowing it was gonna be hot and sticky. We got many "GO FALCONS!" thru out the day from other park visitors and a few ride operators. They are current BG students and loved seeing the orange and brown.

Anyway, we're in the Frontier Land gift shop (cuz it had AC) and the two girls working looked at us. One said "Hey BGSU!!! I go there!" and was pumped about it. Very cool...so I said "GO FALCONS!!". Then it happened...another employee off to the right says, "the buckeyes are better". Stupid thing to say, young man. I turned and said "Absolutely. The buckeyes blow us away in the number of scandals and infractions committed". The BG girl starts laughing her azz off and getting in his grill about it...I mean she really went after him. Jake and I busted a gut and as we walked out, I turned and said "You see at BG, we play by the rules. We don't cheat".

This dude was clueless as to what to say...it was perfectly set up. Man, moments like that rock.

Absolutely Freaking Awesome!! \:D/
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

That young man probably got more of an education in 30 seconds with the Freak than he'll get in 4 years...or longer...at OSU.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I love the comments I get from the Fort Wayne folks who notice my fan gear. Most don't even know where Bowling Green is, but I wear it proudly and take as many opportunities to educate as I can.
Knapke's recruitment has definately helped our name recognition; folks around here are expecting big things from him.

Nice...did you see him play in HS? What can we expect from him?

From the official site..."team captain ... was a three-year starter and first quarterback in the state of Indiana to win three state championships ... earned All-State honors as a senior and was a two-time MVP and first-team all-conference member ... owns the school and conference passing records with 5,983 passing yards and 76 touchdown passes.

Impressive...
