Re: Media Day!
Liked what Clawson, Jones, and Shilz had to say. I liked the point Clawson made that one of the "lesser-known" WRs is going to be the guy to step up and he rattled of 5 or 6 guys stating he didn't even know who it would be. On paper our receivers look very inexperienced, but there is talent there.
all bowling green
Re: Media Day!
I think WMU is the best in the west but they have yet to put together a complete season. They always find a way to lay an egg at an inconvenient time. Both NIU and that team up north have big questions but are both capable of winning the west. And don't count out EMU, Ball State, and CMU. Those three are all dangerous. The west this year doesn't have any sure pick top teams like years past but is very deep. No Akrons or UMasses there.

Re: Media Day!
Toledo has a new HC, they lose their best RB and WR and they have to go play WMU and NIU on the road and they're picked over NIU and WMU? Western has the league's top QB (or close to it) and the most Sr coach in the league, IIRC. Not saying Toledo won't win it....but I definitey wouldn't call them a favorite.
I think the outcome of the Kent game decides our season....win that game and we at least go bowling.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
