Easier route to a bowl game?

Post by Globetrotter »

I expect us to be pretty good this year, with OSU and PSU out of bowl game contention (anyone else?) does this mean we get a much better bowl....or not much changes and we go to Mobile or Detroit...

It would probably depend on where we finish in the conference. If we end up in the top 3 of the conference, and appear in the title game (hopefully winning it) we will likely end up in one of the three MAC bowl games. If we are bowl eligible but don't finish in that top 3 range its probably more likely a different bowl then those three would pick us (like in 09 when we went out to Boise before it was a MAC bowl game). A lot would also probably depend on who the other top conference teams are and the success they have had with sending fans to the MAC bowls, and who wins each division to play in the title game
