Haha, Saw all of that orange and thought that you had finally seen the light. You're a closet Falcon/orange lover...admit it!! :-D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

When done right an orange uni looks stunning. The Falcons have never managed it- take a hint from the Dutch and change your recruiting emphasis.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!

Unlike the men, the women kicked some ass and won gold
Dude! That is NOT enough of a warning!

If you're going to post results of stuff that is aired in the night with a huge delay you should hide the text or link or something.

Sorry, but that's pretty annoying. I guess I will just start avoiding this thread...dammit...

Saw a bit on the news about gymanstics the other day...Jordyn Wieber weighs 35lbs more than Nadia Comaneci did even though she's only about 2-3 years older than Comaneci was in 1976. Gymnasts are so much bigger and stronger than they were...like most sports

Why would ABC care about spoiling people's olympic watching pleasure?
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

Yes, and it was reported many other places too, but me saying it here upset someone so I took it down. Not that it matters since every news outlet was reporting it.

Yeah I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound like a douche
Its just that I've been able to avoid most news outlets...I guess I need to avoid this thread in the day too.

Despite knowing the outcome beforehand it still has been one hell of a competition to watch tonight.

Absolutely crazy.

Could Gabby Douglas have looked more bored on the medal stand during the national anthem? At least look straight ahead and fake like you want to be there.
