Haha, Saw all of that orange and thought that you had finally seen the light. You're a closet Falcon/orange lover...admit it!!h2oville rocket wrote:For one shattering moment orange seemed OK.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

When done right an orange uni looks stunning. The Falcons have never managed it- take a hint from the Dutch and change your recruiting emphasis.Falcon Fanatic wrote:Haha, Saw all of that orange and thought that you had finally seen the light. Unlike the men, the women kicked some ass and won gold
If you're going to post results of stuff that is aired in the night with a huge delay you should hide the text or link or something.
Sorry, but that's pretty annoying. I guess I will just start avoiding this thread...dammit...

Re: 2012 Olympic Games
Saw a bit on the news about gymanstics the other day...Jordyn Wieber weighs 35lbs more than Nadia Comaneci did even though she's only about 2-3 years older than Comaneci was in 1976. Gymnasts are so much bigger and stronger than they were...like most sports

Why would ABC care about spoiling people's olympic watching pleasure?pdt1081 wrote:It was reported on ABC Nightly news at 6:30 tonight.BGFalconfromCincy wrote:taking down what I said so people don't find out results before hand, thread after this can be deleted so I don't piss anyone else offh2oville rocket wrote:Remember when American men ruled the gymnastics world? I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

Yes, and it was reported many other places too, but me saying it here upset someone so I took it down. Not that it matters since every news outlet was reporting it.pdt1081 wrote:It was reported on ABC Nightly news at 6:30 tonight.BGFalconfromCincy wrote:taking down what I said so people don't find out results before hand, thread after this can be deleted so I don't piss anyone else offh2oville rocket wrote:Remember when American men ruled the gymnastics world? Yeah I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound like a douche
Its just that I've been able to avoid most news outlets...I guess I need to avoid this thread in the day too.

Re: 2012 Olympic Games
Despite knowing the outcome beforehand it still has been one hell of a competition to watch tonight.
Absolutely crazy.
Currently tied in the medal count with China at 23 a piece.

Could Gabby Douglas have looked more bored on the medal stand during the national anthem? At least look straight ahead and fake like you want to be there.
