Tigers/Tribe for three at Comerica this weekend. Let's finish the Indians for 2012 with a sweep. I'll be at Sunday's game and hope to see Scherzer rack up some K's against those Lake Erie bastages

Dirks activated today and is in the lineup hitting 6th and playing right! Boesch moved to DH.

Kelly was DFA'd.

Also, some good news in that Al Alburquerque has been moved from Lakeland to Toledo to continue his rehab assignment.

Schlereth (yeah they still have him...ugh) is beginning a rehab assighment in Lakeland...hopefully he will stay there...lol

Went to Friday's game. Unlike most of this season in which the Tribe has had the Tigs number this one was not close. Fielder hit two rockets one of which almost punched a hole in the right center field wall. Dirks looked good and this lineup certainly is the one for the rest of the season against RHers. Only bad thing was the Pale Hose continued to win. Of course the wild card race is extremely tight and the Angels loss to the Sox made it even closer.

Beautiful meltdown by Perez and the Tribe today...pack it in. Thank goodness the Akron Aeros are on course for their 4th league title in the last 9 years....and football starts soon.

My wife and daughter were struggling with the heat so we left today's game in the top of the 10th since the Indians were ahead and the Tigers never do much aganst Perez... :)

I walked out of the Miami Miracle in 1985 at halftime.....the circle is now complete

Love the sweep! However, we do play the Tribe for two series in September. Once @ Comerica and once @ Progressive Field. Let's sweep them there too!

I just heard STO's Bruce Drennan compare theTigers and tribe. He said he'd take Santana over Avila (no) and Brantley over Austin Jackson. Where did they find this clown? Jackson is pulling 900+ ops and playing GG defense and he'll take Brantley? He also gave theTribe Kipnis over Infante (maybe someday...not today) and he gave the edge to Choo and Asrubal over Boesch and Peralta. I agree...based largely on defense and Choo's more consistent. But Brantley over Ajax? Seriously?

Torii Hunter visited the Tigers today and looks to make a decision before Thanksgiving. Detroit is the likely destination at this point with Texas having an outside chance.

Possible lineup next year of:

1 - Jackson
2 - Hunter
3 - Miggy
4 - Prince
5 - VMart
6 - Dirks/Garcia/Boesch/Barry
7 - Peralta
8 - Avila
9 - Infante
