2012 Uniforms

Best uniforms in our history. They look sleek, state of the art fit and finish. Proper branding matches all the combinations. Finally something right from our athletic department. Plus the players love this kind of look. Now if our vaunted AD could get the Falcon Addidas sideline gear available to the public, that would really be something (gear looks awesome in all the practice pics).

And it REALLY irritates the sh!t out of me. And there is NO JUSTIFICATION to it that would satisfy me. NONE! You DO NOT change a school's colors for marketing or ANY REASON. PERIOD.

I can't believe I didn't pop this thread open until now. These are sharp. Pro looking team name on the front. The feathers/wings on the side are BA. So pumped for Sept 1 right now.

I've been following the program for 25 years. Those are the dumbest-looking BGSU uniforms I've ever seen, and it isn't even close.

The shoulder feathers are ridiculous; those will be about as cool as polyester pants 24 months from now. Also, the numbers look like they were pasted on with athletic tape.

Who put a 15-year-old kid in charge of these designs? Worst. Falcon. Uniforms. Ever.

This is probably as good a time as any to admit that the uniforms are growing on me. I still think the feathers are silly. I still think the numbers look like they were rendered in electrical tape.

On the other hand, the white helmets are kind of cool. And I like the way the orange numerals are framed in brown on those white jerseys.

Yeah, I have to agree with you Schadenfreude. The uniforms are growing on me a bit. The feathers are still stupid, IMO.

This will drive Falcon Fanatic crazy - did you notice the shade of the orange on the Falcon logo on the helmet versus the shade on the rest of the uniform. The orange on the helmet was darker. So once again, we don't have consistency with our "brand."

I loved them, I think they stand out and look sharp. The wings on the side of the shoulder are a little cheesy but other than that I was impressed.

Also, maybe not noticable from a distance- adidas BG gloves and adidas orange and brown undersirts with AY ZIGGY on right biceps and ZOOMBA on left. Pretty sweet.

My favorite road jersey I have ever seen. The feathers don't do much for me either but the rest is sharp.

LOVE the white helmets...The unis are cool. I can live with them and am looking forward to seeing the home unis this Sat night.

Glad they redid the "BG" logo so it's nice and big like before we added the peekaboo. Much easier to see. Kudos to the athletic dept!

I would still like a solid stripe on the helmet instead of the tapered one. But hell, if the recruits like it, I can live with it!
