I think it's time for a new special team coach. Fire him first then fire Clawson at the end of the season.

I'd be up for firing Ruggiero too if this vanilla playcalling keeps going.

I've been ready for his pink slip for a while.... his offensive strategy (if you can call it a strategy) sucks.

As a QB coach I like Ruggiero a lot. He's been great with both Sheehan and Schilz. I do think, though, he's been a bit over his head as an OC ever since he no longer had Freddie Barnes and Tyler Sheehan to work with. I would not mind one bit if Clawson took over play calling duties on the sideline or handed it off to the WR coach. Clawson does show an incredible and admirable level of loyalty to his staff, so I don't see him making such a demotion unless his hand is forced. But again, I'm not a coach, I'm not on the sidelines, I don't know what is going on there so I can't accurately make an assessment of the situation.
