Paint

Post by h2oville rocket »

Is there such a thing as BG orange paint (and brown for that matter) available in spray cans? No, there is no plan for vandalism-I just am thinking of messing around with my forge and seeing if I can come up with a trophy worthy of the rivalry. thought maybe the U or a hardware down there might have the right colors- I know you can get custom paint with a sample but if it exists already its easier for me.

My concept is a boot...one side is brown and orange, one side is blue and yellow. It becomes the "we kicked your butts" trophy... :-)
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Someone in the Sports Infomation Department should be able to get his/her hands on the Pantone numbers for the brown and orange we use.

Good thought. I'm not s creative as the rest- I was thinking of a steel football (just four curved bars bars welded at the bottom to a piece of 'C" channel (for the base) with a falcon and a rocket on each side. C channel would be half Blue with gold UTLP (Launching Pad, our board's name)stenciled on it in gold while the other half would be orange with BGAZZ stenciled in brown. I like both the boot and the half hat, half happy meal ideas-the HM and hat certainly would be a story to be passed down through the generations.

But the Utah schools play for a boot, and we don't want to steal anything from any other schools, we have to be original in everything we do :-D

That and in the hands of a half-azzed web designer who needed to know what the "official" hexidecimal color was for brown and orange.

DAMN! I've never seen "hexidecimal" used in a sentence before.

And now "hexidecimal" has been used three times in one thread.
