Football Uniforms

Post by TJRocket »

Lost in the excitement of the Rockets thrilling win over its little brother to the south was the awesome new duds the BG football team rolled out. Its never been a secret that I have never been a fan of the BG uniforms. I think the worst ones you ever rolled out in the past 10 - 15 years were the brown jerseys. :vom:
The new unis? Thumbs up! Way to go BG marketing dept. The white helmets with the all white jerseys? Bad ass. Plus with very little orange and no brown at all they were much easier on the eyes this year. Thank you.

Wouldn't a person think that in order to refer to an opponent as their 'Little Brother' that they should lead the series in wins first??

Very good post TJ! I thought the same thing when I saw them. It takes a design genius to come up with jerseys for a team with the orange and brown colors and I thought they did a marvelous job this year. I have to second TJ's gratitude and thanks to BG for those.

And TJ and I like many in the UT fan base are not 100 years old, so we deal in the modern world. That's why everyone views you guys as our little brothers. I'm sure in the 1930s and 1940s it may have been different. That's also why our football team continues to "noogie" you guys each year nowadays.

I never knew Toledo had such a strong fashion merchandising program. Kent State may get kicked of the runway.

If we're the little brother you must be the old, ugly sister.

Come on big guy, how many of those in the 39 column were you personally there for? Lol, how about the other column? How many of the 34 did you have to sit thru? Nuff said.

Your point makes so much logical sense that it is only fitting and appropriate that you cheer for that team up north. Equating one person's attendance at some football games with the overall record of a series? Impeccable logic there.
