Injury updates?

Post by BGSU33 »

Just watched coach's press conference and heard that WR's Hosley and Jackson are both out for the year with knee injuries. Damn. Also, coach talked about Bayer (who was lost for the game) but he sounded very concern about his injury. That would be a big loss if we lose him. But does anyone know exactly what happened to him? I saw him come off the field but I never heard with what injury. I'm assuming it was also a knee. Let's hope it's nothing serious.

WR depth is now a concern. Hosley might get a redshirt this year. Losing Bayer would hurt bad.

I watched the play over again and it looked like he hurt something with his left leg. Not sure if it was a knee or ankle or what. He got rolled up on. He did walk off the field but limped and was out of uniform after it.

Several injuries as Jamel Martin had a serious injury just as he was picking up steam as the third back. Martin will work hard to get back next season. Givens must now step up. Hopgood and D Woods should be back. Hard to imagine that superior defensive performance without Woods- excellent job by all involved. Bayer thinks he will be OK. I am sure he (and we) will know more later in the week.

If Bayer can't go, Beck and Rolf will need to step up. ff1, no doubt. No D Woods and yet we shut MU down cold. Two weeks in a row this D has shut down pretty explosive attacks. They are playing championship level defense.

Beck made a really nice catch.....you'd hate to lose Bayer, but Beck, Rolf and Kendall Montgomery give us some depth there.

Is Hosley's knee the same one that kept him from enrolling on time last year?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Coach said it was his other knee.

Awful news! I loved what he was showing and seemed to be be more of our "power back."

Did he say what it was that he hurt? Let's hope he's okay.

Bayer looked okay on the sidelines, he was walking around without his helmet on and it didn't seem like he was in any pain. Sucks about Hosley and Jackson...we'll need some guys to step up at that position the rest of the year.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
