Stephen Stein

Post by BGSU33 »

Hats off to him this weekend. Some of us (including myself) have dished out some frustration with the kicking earlier this season and it's only fitting to acknowledge when he has a good game also. It was the first game this season where we made all of our FG attempts (I know it was just one, but we were 1-for-1) and he made all his PAT's. That might sound like something to be expected, but we know how our place kicking has been for the last three seasons and that was very promising to see this weekend. That FG also came at a time where it put us up 17-3 but it also kept us ahead when Miami was closing. The crazy thing about some of his misses is, three of them have hit the upright. It wasn't as if they were way wide, and too bad none of them bounced through. I can't remember the last time I saw a kicker hit the upright that many times, but he split the uprights all day Saturday and that was big. Keep it up!
