UMass game thread...

This is shaping up to be an exciting season. If you don't think so you are insane, stupid or simply had unrealistic expectations going into the season.

I had some doubts at the beginning of the season, but those are gradually evaporating.

Fact: this was billed by UMass as the start of their second season. Combine that with this game being their Homecoming and you have a team that is likely going to be playing out of their freaking skulls - which was likely the case with their defense.

The 60 seconf boys were held to 118 yards for the game. Read that again; ill wait. I LOVE reading that as a Falcon fan! This defense is DOMINANT and you don't need a 45 points a game offense to take this conference. UMass scored over 30 against the bobcats.

I'm perfectly happy with this win and the four game win streak. Are their improvements to be made from this game? Yup, but there are always improvements to be made. Always.

So, shut up and just be happy with where we are; I know I am. Cheers!

That was as good as I have ever seen our pass defense play. Nice to see the secondary forcing turnovers 2 weeks in a row too. We keep forcing turnovers and we are going to be really tough to beat.

I am still disappointed on the inconsistency from the offense this year and the penalties are frustrating.

The UMass D impressed me....BG was rolling along the last few weeks and UMass stuffed us at times. That Williams kid was all over the place. Any conference road win is a good one...
