Saturday's Game

Post by The Niz »

I'm kind of out of touch with the school down here in SC, are there any special things going on to boost attendance in light of the teams recent success? I heard about the two tickets for $15, but that doesn't have much pull with the students.

Something I've always had trouhble with, our fans (since at least 2004) have only ever cheered when we're on offense. I always assumed it was because we couldn't play defense. Now that we play some crushing style D, is there any chance our fans have been learning to cheer the right way during the game so as to hinder the opposing team? Or are there still just not enough people for it to make a difference?

MAKE NOISE ON DEFENSE!!!

From the couple games I have attended, the noise has seemed to be louder on defense than in years past.

Our D is definitely exciting to watch!!!

The new video board has seemed to help keep people more engaged in the game, it displays stats and replays on a pretty consistent basis which is nice. I would agree too with MM that the crowd has been louder on defense this year, presumably because they know how good they are.

Crowds have had more to cheer about in general this year, lol.

3 home wins this year already equals 2010 and 2011 combined.

I have to give a huge shoutout to the student section and the Falcon Fanatics. The students have been very loud, especially on defense. Keep it up!!
