The Miami win over OU had serious implications. BG and Kent are the only teams that control their own destiny in the East.
BGSU 6-3 (4-1)
@ Ohio
vs Kent
vs Buffalo
Kent 7-1 (4-0)
vs. Akron
@ Miami
@ Bowing Green
vs Ohio
Miami 4-4 (3-1)
@ Buffalo
vs Kent
@ CMU
vs Ball State
Ohio 7-1 (3-1)
vs Eastern
vs BGSU
@ Ball State
@ Kent
Obviously BG only has 3 games remaining and gets 10 days off before both Ohio and Kent.
Ohio probably has the most difficult schedule remaining, having to play BG then go to Ball State and Kent.
Miami needs to win out and have BG lose again; Ohio needs to win out and have Miami lose again. BG and Kent just need to win out.
Should be an exciting final month.

Re: BGSU, Kent, Miami, Ohio remaining schedules
Oh the schedule could not have set up any better for us. Ohio has to play EMU this Thursday night and turn around and play us next Wed night. BG didn't get a bye this year so to get 10 days to prepare for Ohio AND Kent is huge. I would love to see Akron upset Kent....I know it's a long shot but that's a pretty heated rivalry. The Zips have lost 6 in a row and I don't know if they've packed it in for the year.
You aren't kidding...should be a great run to finish the regular season. For us it is very simple...take care of business on the field and no need to get help from anyone else.
GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!

So tired of going through all the scenarios come November. Nice to see we control our own destiny for once.
