BG / Cal Poly program on eBay

Post by MarkL »

1960 BG / Cal Poly football program for sale ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAL-POLY-BOWLIN ... 0414171059 ... 100 bucks. That's a piece of BG history.

Does anyone besides me think that would be a priceless piece of history the athletic department should have? Just a thought ....

I was at that game. Life magazine had a two page picture across Cal Polys bench during the game with their article. I had that article for a long time and ended up losing it in a move somewhere along the line.

I'm sure the athletics department, or at least the Center for Archival Collections in the library has at least one copy, especially considering it was a home game.

If you click on the "inside" of this program, you'll see some fairly famous names in BG FB history.... Bernie Casey, Bob Reynods, Jack Harbaugh etc. I graduated with quite a few of these guys; we celebrated our 50th reunion last year and about 6-8 football players were on hand. \:D/

Would love to have this program, but not for $100. [-o<
