Anyone heading down to Athens?
I don't know if there is already a topic on this or not, but is anyone making the trip to Athens? I am heading down with a friend who's cousin is a TE for Ohio, but is out for the season. I hope to see plenty of orange and brown there!

Wish I could be there, but alas I couldn't get the time off work.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

I'm going down with old college friend. Setting up a BG tent in lot 82 right behind Clippinger Hall on the OU parking map. I'll be entertaining my daughter and a bunch of her OU friends (she's a freshman there) but we plan to show them how to tailgate Falcon style. I'd love to see lot 82 full of BG fans. It's 5.00 to. Park and a short walk to Peden. I used it for parents weekend and it was great.

I'll be there.
Question for those who know Athens- My friend and I are staying at the OU Inn, looks to be a short walk to the stadium. Are there bars and restaurants close enough to walk to? We were thinking about getting into town early afternoon and heading somewhere then heading to the stadium. If it's a long hike, we may go to a plan B.

Send coach Solich a PM, He should be able to give you the short list.Falcon137 wrote:I'll be there.

Falcon 137...it's about a 15 min walk from OU Inn uptown. Walk across bridge on Richland Ave past Convo, up a hill to Union. Turn right and Court street is next. Lots of bars there
Re: Anyone heading down to Athens?
Where is everyone sitting? I think we're in section 112.
Re: Anyone heading down to Athens?
I used my season ticket holder promotion for this game and they gave me section 112 row 17.

My friend's cousin is giving us free tickets but I have no idea where they will be! I'd imagine the place will be pretty packed even on a weeknight
Re: Anyone heading down to Athens?
Don't worry, you'll be able to move to Sec. 112 with the other Falcon fans at halftime, when all the OU fans take off for the night.jakehovs23 wrote:My friend's cousin is giving us free tickets but I have no idea where they will be! I'd imagine the place will be pretty packed even on a weeknight
