Good things from tonight
Nearly 3,000 fans at one point in the game.
Can't think of much else.
Hope for more positives against Western Michigan on Friday.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

The team will grow and we will get better. Tonight hurt a little bit, but there were a lot of good things that came out of tonight. As mentioned, the fan base really showed up tonight. Thanks to everyone who showed up, even though the end result wasn't what we had hoped for. Brent Tate picked up the first point of his college career and played pretty well. He is a monster in his checking ability and I hope we keep seeing that. Also, Wojtala stepped up and showed he deserved to have that "C" on his chest. Keep faith in our Falcon hockey team, the best is yet to come.

Re: vs Michigan State
tough loss... at least we got the split and with that a win in their house...
Random question: Are they still doing that pre-game intro with the flashlight and the lights out in the beginning? Curious to what people think about that? or have they improved it or changed it?
Go Falcon Hockey!!!

The last time I got there early enough to see pregame, they did that. I like it, but the music is so loud that you cannot hear the names being announced.BGHockeyisRtradition wrote:tough loss... at least we got the split and with that a win in their house...

Rough night, but every single team has them. For many years just about EVERY night was a rough night and that is no longer the case. Keep your heads up Falcons (and fans).
