Shaun Suisham

Post by Rollo83 »

Shaun's having a vey good year with the Steelers. He has only missed one FG all year and is something like 19 for 20.

If you get a chance watch the highlights of Steelrs/Giants game today. Steelers tried a fake FG with holder flipping the ball over his head to Shaun who tried to run for the first down. Didn't work to well.

It's good to see SS having a great season. I didn't think he would last in the league much longer kicking 75-80%.

Shaun tore his ACL making a tackle in the pre-season game last night.

What a bummer.

Another reason of the countless why playing four preseason games is ridiculous.

That cannot happen to your #1 kicker in the preseason. He either needs to be on the bench or instructed to kick the ball and run off the field.

Agreed. No reason for this to happen.

I believe it was Suisham that took out Adrian Peterson in the Oklahoma game.

Disagree completely. In a world where the cbA prevents teams from practicing as much as years past and teams cannot go full pads in practice the preseason games have never been more important.

Shaun needs to know not to risk himself in these games, but they are very necessary for the rest of the players and coaches to get ready to play in the regular season.
