BG vs. IUPUI

BG had an 11-point lead in the first half but lost nearly all of it, leads 37-36 at the half.

I've been one of Orr's biggest supporters over the last few years, but I'm finally willing to admit that it has been false hope. After listening to the last two games it's pretty clear these teams are not well coached and frankly just aren't very talented. We definitely need to move in a new direction sooner than later.

Louis Orr well on his way to his sixth consecutive losing record in the non-conference.

It was time for Louis Orr to go after last season. It would not have been overly premature to let him go prior to last season. At this point it's way beyond time for him to go.

He's Dan Dakich without the antics.

Crawford had a nice stat line. We really need a third scorer pretty badly. We're going to lose our top two scoters next year.

And he still cannot develop talent. We're 3 games into the season and our 2 seniors that we're counting on to lead this team have played the following:

Crawford: Up, way down, Up
Calhoun: Way down, UP, blah

These guys have played a ton of basketball in a BG uniform. They're shown that they have the physical talents to be good to great players. And yet after 4 years under Orr he STILL hasn't found a way to get consistent play out of them. I'd be willing to write it off as the players needing to put in the work or something if it was just these 2 guys, but it's the same year after year. Players never get better under Orr and he doesn't get the most out of them.

If DD hadn't given him Moten, Miller, Marschall and Clements to work with Orr would have ZERO winning seasons here. He's gotta go...
