Any idea when ESPN will decide when we'll play this game?

Really hoping for 2pm. 11am will make it difficult for the out-of-towners :-(

I would guess 2. The 11 am kick should be the Ohio Kent State game. With the season Buffalo is having I have a hard time seeing that game being picked up. Even if a BG win means we win the east.

I know this conflicts with other reports, but I went to the ticket office to buy Kent tickets and asked about the game time for Buffalo. They said that it is NOT confirmed yet, and ESPN could still choose it for the 11 AM game. They said it all depends on how we do against Kent.

History has dictated that ESPN likes the 11 AM game to be a possible clincher (TEM-OU in '09, OU-KENT in '10, EMU-NIU in '11), so I could see us being at 11 AM if we win this Saturday. I believe the times are officially set on Sunday.

Tweet from Dave Meyer on Wednesday:

Lots of questions on game time for Buffalo game in Columbus. ESPN will let us know six days out, most likely following result of Kent game.

Assuming BG wins on Saturday, I fully expect that Buffalo will be at 11 AM, so we can Close the Deal on national television.

The game being in COLUMBUS is getting more comical as it goes!

This might be the DUMBEST idea, and there have been many, that this athletic administration has had. Moving a home game for a possible championship to a venue 2 hours away, a "non" fan friendly time, etc, etc, etc.
I know.......we could have Sam Hornish sign autographs, and the fans would roll in! I'm not sure a Madonna halftime show would help! :butthead:

Couldn't agree more. You could have a division championship game at home and your gonna take the game to a neutral site. What does that say to your coaching staff? What's next, playing Tulsa next year in Ft. Wayne?
