What "facts"? You have a statement from the kid. Just because the kid says he was offered, that doesn't make it true. At one point he listed an offer from UCLA. What happened there?

I'm not saying that the kid is lying because I wasn't privy to any of the conversations he had with anyone here, but it's not unusual for a kid to think a school is offering when they are simply discussing the possibility of an offer.

It's also not unusual for a school to string a kid along by hinting that an offer is forthcoming when they're simply waiting to see if other kids they want more sign on.

It is a fact that the recruit said he was offered and then it was pulled. That in itself is a fact. The offer may not be a fact, it also may not be a fact that Josep pulled it, however it is a fact that this student said he did. Thats a fact.

Wow, can't let it die can you. It amazing, because it is both a fact and a statement. It's a statement because Jacque stated or declared a message. It is also obvious that its a fact that he made this statement. It does not give the statement anymore evidence or validity that it actually occurred or is true. The point is that I can say a lot of things that are of course facts that come directly from my mouth but that are not necessarily factual. I'm sure there are many reasons to pull a scholarship but we don't know any of this information, so this whole argument appears to be very elementary.

It is a fact that the idea is out in the public for anyone who wants to to view that we pulled a scholarship for this kid and that it was Joseph. Whether or not this is a fact or not does not matter. What matters is perception. And right now there is a question out there about the ethics of one of our coaches. This should be addressed at the proper time. It is still a fact thata recruit we were seeking had what he perceived to be an offer pulled by a coach he named as Joseph. Thats a fact. The situation eneds to be addressed adn if I was a reporter for the Sentinell or the BG News I would be calling him and asking him what the situation was. Then I would follow up with the coaches response. That would be the best route to go. I think you guys are just scared this will hurt recruiting.

Regardless of wheher it is true or not it is out there and should be looked in to. You said just because it is a statemnt doesnt make it true. But you are acting like it is a false although it has not even been looked into.
