They were better. And that's the problem. They shouldn't be better than us. And they shouldnt run us by 11 on our home court. I love how there's still people out there sticking up for Orr. Wish I could live in "Lala" land too; unfortunately I live in the real world and have to watch the crap he puts on the court each game. And then listen to the religion lesson he puts on the radio after he gets ran by an inferior team on his home court. Maybe he should put down the bible and pick up a play chart..........

I enjoy the MAC. This year I have chosen to follow OU throughout the basketball season. Like I have said in the past, the higher ups at BGSU have decided to not emphasize men's basketball anymore. Anyone at the arena last night could see what I mean.

Get a clue people...this is not your average "Youngstown State" team. They had already beaten George Washington at their place by 7 and beat Georgia at Georgia by 12 68-56. So there may be a reason why we did not look so good. Tip your hat to the other team on some nights. I didn't like the result either as a 15 year seaon ticket holder but the Penguins had something to do with the final score.

Them being good doesn't make us miss wide open shots like it is our first time picking up a ball.

Wow, that's really a great point, debtorange. YSU might be a good team. Maybe we should just take a step back and learn to be content with same, shitty, uninspired losing basketball program that we've suffered with for the past ten years. Somebody has to lose. Why not us?

Georgia must have missed wide open shots too...they only had 56 pts. What a coincidence huh?

We shot 28% or something similar from the field. That has nothing to do with the defense in this case. They were not altering shots. We weren't moving and we were either taking awful shots or we were missing wide open shots.

Youngstown is average. They probably played as bad as they have all year and won by 11, would have been 20 if they made free throws. Youngstown coaches have probably all ready burned the game tape, and realize they stole a win despite playing awful.

Georgia? George Washington? You act like these are basketball powers. Get a clue about good basketball programs. Kent just won at Youngstown St. The line was a PK. They are average. I've tipped my hat to the other teams alot with Louis Orr as coach. Get a clue.

Get ready for other tough night tomorrow night. Wright St is 20th in the country giving up only 55 per game. We were favored by 1 and lost and werent favored by 15 and lost. It was supposed to be a tough game and it was.

So what your saying is losing to mediocre teams at home is Ok? Ya, I won't be shocked at all if BG loses to Wright St tomorrow. I sure won't come in here and talk up Wright St. if they played like that Youngstown St. team. Yesterday was terrible basketball by both teams. It was 2 hours of uninspired suck.

It was bad basketball, but not from a lack of trying. I think the team overall plays hard for him, which is what one of the earlier responses questioned. The notion that effort equals results is faulty.

FWIW, there should have been a change at head coach after last season. I think it is unfair to a college program to do it during a season.

We should win at home. We don't do that much anymore.

The sad truth is that with this lineup it's not stunning at all. Kraus & Orr have no offensive game whatsoever and Black is spotty at best. This team just blows...especially offensively.

It'll be a cold day in hell before I tip my cap to a team that beats us because we scored only 49 effing points. That's complete and total s**t basketball by BG and I don't care who they were playing.

I'm not pissed off from that game because we lost...I expect us to lose nearly every game we play this year. I was pissed off because the effort was pathetic and this offense is a joke. That was one of the worst games I've ever watched...and maybe you're right that YSU is good but they played like s**t yesterday...we were just worse. What were they 10-25 from the free throw line? Shoot like even a bad free throw team and they'd have an extra 5 points on us.

No, I'm sorry...Orr is a joke and needs to be gone ASAP
