Plus in hockey BG is playing Michigan, OSU, Michigan State, Notre Dame in football and basketball they are playing Akron, Eastern Michigan, Buffalo and other Mac schools. No comparison.

Bowling Green hockey team can compete with any school, any day. I'm not saying they will win every time, but they can play a close game with any school in the country. Let's put our football team up against Georgia, Ohio State, or Alabama and see what happens. Our basketball team is soon to play Michigan State and they are going to be destroyed. Our hockey team played Michigan State twice this season, winning one and losing one. We have a great team, and a great program. Although our record is not the greatest, we have to consider we play great teams every game.

Granted, we didn't win, however we DID play a very "respectable" game. Just sayin.................-

BG football has a long history of competing with and even defeating nationally known, ranked opposition. Suggesting otherwise is ignorant...and it shows a complete lack of respect for student athletes who have represented the University you claim to support.
