Luke Kraus' stats are downright embarrassing!

Crawford and Calhoun are supposed to be your horses...the guys you count on to be a focal point of the team and provide leadership. They suck...ok..maybe that's too strong...but they are so GD inconsistent that it's impossible for this team to establish any kind of identity...much less momentum. We haven't hitched our wagon to Erger...we've hitched it to the C&C Airball Factory. In that respect, they are waaaay more responsible for the outcome of the games than some bench guy getting 10 minutes. It's like blaming a utility infielder for a team's lack of runs when the 3/4 hitters hit .220.

Ultimately...they only real symbol for this program is Louis Orr. He recruits...teaches ...shapes...coaches...and he sucks at it.

It also explains alot of the reaction to the black uniforms. People have watched 5+ years of lethargic basketball, where the idea of winning the MAC Tournament is of no consideration Frustration sinks in and we complain about everything. Yet, Greg Fundraiser claims "directionally" we are headed upward. The vibe in the Stroh at halftime Saturday was pretty frustrated. It doesn't take a basketball fan to watch this and realize this season is a wasted year.

Bottom line is an Orr led program is going nowhere, yet our AD claims that we're going in the right direction. If he truly believes that, he's as clueless as the coach that he's backing. I'm just hoping like hell that this is the last year I have to watch his product. The only real enjoyment I get from the games nowadays are: A) the dance team has gotten much better (and still looks good), B) It's fun to spend 2 hours poking fun at this sinking ship, and C) The arena is awesome, as are the cookies.

Kraus is just killing us way more than he is helping us at this point. We are playing 4-on-5 on offense when he is on the floor. For every charge he takes, he's on the floor allowing a basket to be made. But the bottom line is, he is keeping us from scoring on the other end. Teams play off of him and he is ZERO offensive threat. I know it, he knows it, everyone watching knows it, and our opponents know it. He has started and played in 10 games, has logged 277 minutes, and has scored just 10 basketball. TEN. Our starting off-guard is averaging ONE basket made per game. WTF?! Did anyone see him last night pump faking from about 5 feet behind the three-point arc last night? I honestly LOL as did people sitting around me. And the look on his face and how he act each time after miss after miss. Does he honestly expect his shot to go in??? Why he continues to get the minutes he does is beyond me. Dude is killing us at times out there.

Yes, Kraus, the man who calls the substitution patterns every game, is the problem. Get a grip man. The joke of a coach is the problem. His team is getting smoked. And "directionally" speaking, this AD sucks too. Apparently we give too shits about mens b-ball, because "directionally" were doing a o k. But we support him because he's done things other ADs haven't.....give me a freakng break. Orrs good.........what a joke. Nice person, HORRIBLE BASKETBALL COACH. I am pretty sure you have no clue what you are talking about. Just because BGSU33 said Kraus epitomizes what is wrong with the program doesn't mean they think the coach is the most wonderful coach in basketball. In fact, that statement reflects poor coaching as much as if we said, "The coach stinks." Epitomizes means "a perfect example of," meaning Kraus is a perfect example of what is wrong with this team. A starter can't score at all yet continues to start, which demonstrates a lack of talent and a lack of coaching.

As for the AD, I don't see why everybody is hating on him. You can't make the perfect hire every time, but what he's done for athletics has been impressive as far as I'm concerned.
