I'm pretty sure its the same guy that played for the falcons...

didn't see anything on your boards about this... but then again I didn't look very hard either. I remember watching him play at the ice arena for quite a few games growing up.

Yup, that's our former Falcon Hockey player! I looked through the book's preview and saw a paragraph when he mentioned playing at BG!

Thanks for posting! I'll have to pick that up!

GO FALCON HOCKEY!!!

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I downloaded this - a few chapters in and it's a real good read.

I am going to actually buy a hard copy of the book. Figured it was going to be a good read, when I read synopsis on it. It's funny, when I hear about a player who played a LOT of minor league games all over the place, I always think of Dan Bylsma and the road he's been on and where he ended up!!

In case you wondered about this comment, people used to call Pronger "Fork." \:D/

Deadspin posted a very humorous excerpt from Sean's book. Definitely makes me want to purchase it- perfect amount of self-deprecation and story telling to make you feel like you are sitting at Brathaus listening to Sean.

The seemingly 12 pages they reposted was really well written and amusing. I threw it on a Christmas list late, but will have to try again for the upcoming b-day. (Or just stop being a cheapskate and buy it my damn self. :D)

Sean played for the Blue Jackets their first couple of years as a franchise. Had an opportunity to chat with him on occasion.
