Re: Tulane and ECU to Big East
I should have been more clear. Who were the schools that were suppossed to be in the Big East from CSU and the like and how would this new transcontinental conference compare?

What is the Big East right now? Who doesn't that include?

Future full members of the Big East were supposed to be Houston, SMU, UCF, Memphis and Tulane. Future football-only members were Boise St, San Diego St, East Carolina and Navy.Globetrotter wrote:I should have been more clear. If that was a tweet, I would favorite it.
Re: Tulane and ECU to Big East
FWIW, I can't see any schools joining up with UConn or Cincy to form a new league. Everyone knows those two are just begging for an invitation from the ACC. As soon as some other pieces move (Ga Tech to the Big 10, ...) they would jump to the ACC in a heartbeat, leaving all these other schools left to fend for the themselves. Those current CUSA-future Big East schools would be better off forming a new league without Cincy and UConn.
