Re: ND
Their first goal was bad
We played with them for the first and second period....but did not play during the third. We need to start winning the battles in the corners. We NEED TO WIN AT HOME!!!!! We need to make good passes when we have odd man rushes, or at least make a good shot where there is a potential rebound. It's the small things that we are not doing that are making us lose games, in my opinion.
Bring back the glory!

Re: ND
BG has players with speed and a good work ethic, but the program severely lacks size and goal scoring. Perhaps moving to the WCHA next year will help us compete against similar type programs, because right now we can't hang with the class of the CCHA.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
Re: ND
The only one who showed he was capable of skating with ND (speed-wise) was Mingo. Very few battles for the puck were won by out hustling. ND just skated circles around them.jpfalcon09 wrote:BG has players with speed and a good work ethic, but the program severely lacks size and goal scoring. I do have to question where Shea was. He's the most physical player on the team and had a great weekend in Alaska. The physical presence was definitely missing.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

What? Who schedules a wedding during hockey season? At least schedule it at the game.....Falcon Fanatic wrote:According to his twitter that was posted on Friday:pdt1081 wrote:I do have to question where Shea was.
